N' the Spirit Transformational Living provides a Recovery Home for Women who are struggling with alcohol/substance abuse disorders, mental health, or low self-esteem, or are victims of domestic violence or sexual abuse. Their holistic approach includes 12 step programs and other means of recovery that may include medication assistance treatment (MAT). They also provide spirituality, recovery support services, low-impact aerobics, and sober fun activities that help women build a strong, stable foundation in recovery.

The peer-ran, recovery-oriented housing fills a service gap for individuals seeking a safe, alcohol-and-drug-free independent living environment. The program provides peer-led recovery support groups, weekly recovery education or relapse prevention groups, and case management services to assist Residents in need of supportive services. The Recovery Home has a capacity of up to 40 residents. The length of stay for the residents is based on an individual's need and circumstances with the typical length of stay being 90 days or up to 6 months. Currently, the residence is male only.

Located in Chicago's Rogers Park neighborhood, LSSI's Sober Living Homes are close to public transportation, shopping, and outdoor recreational activities. On-site house managers offer mentorship. Peers provide a safe and supportive environment for residents' recovery. Residents are free to attend school or to work while they reside in a sober living home.
