180 MEN'S RESIDENTIAL RECOVERY / HOPE HOUSE | MORNINGSTAR MISSION MINISTRIES

180 Men's Residential Recovery provides residential services to men recovering from addiction and/or chronic homelessness. Additional services include: Christian counseling, character-focused bible study classes, and assistance in obtaining a GED.


Hope House: Transitional housing for graduates of the 180 Men's Residential Recovery Program who need additional time for recovery.

Saint Monica Homes is located in the West Town neighborhood of Chicago. It is a residence for up to 18 women between 18 and 35 and their children up to 10. Saint Josephine Bakhita Homes, located in the Austin neighborhood of Chicago, can follow Saint Monica Homes, where mothers and their children experience a less restrictive home setting. The goal at Saint Josephine Bakhita Homes is to allow mothers to focus on gaining independence and putting into practice the life skills they have learned.

Sober Living Homes offer the chance to build a strong foundation for a fresh start. Located in Chicago's Rogers Park neighborhood, LSSI's Sober Living Homes are close to public transportation, shopping, and outdoor recreational activities. On-site house managers offer mentorship. Peers provide a safe and supportive environment for residents' recovery. Residents are free to attend school or to work while they reside in a sober living home. In addition, residents are encouraged to maintain participation with the support group of their choice.

Healthy Start is a supportive environment that offers housing, peer support, case management, and on-site outpatient treatment. Residents have the opportunity to practice what they have learned in the treatment groups. Ultimately, the program prepares residents for sober living in the community. House Managers are peers who have traveled the journey of recovery and who have found success. They provide support and mentorship to residents as they navigate their own recovery.

Provides substance abuse assessments.

Crisis intervention available 24/7.

Detoxification services help a person become alcohol or drug-free. Individuals are medically monitored for withdrawal and other complications which may occur following cessation of prolonged use of alcohol or drugs.

Offers an adult intensive outpatient treatment program, providing group-based treatment.

Inpatient and outpatient services for adults, and outpatient services for adolescents with substance abuse problems.

Offers early intervention groups for both adults and adolescents.

DUI offender services are provided.
