Offers yoga classes every Friday for youth and adults. Classes helps builds strength, increases self-esteem, reduces stress, promotes flexibility, and improves balance. Also offers Walk With a Doc, nature walks, and drumming. Walk With a Doc allows residents to learn more about physical wellness from a doctor.
Offers a day center for older adults to socialize with others. Provides lunch to older adults who are 50 years and older. Also provides daily drop-in activities, programs, trips, guest speakers and services for older adults. Services and activities include: - Arthritis Exercise Program - Bingo, Mahjong, and Pinochle - Speakers & Entertainers - Walking Club - Yoga - Transportation services
Worth Township Senior Services Department offers a variety of activities and services for senior citizens. Some of the events that take place are senior fitness, day trips, bingo, crocheting, foodie clubs, and much more. Groups also meet to play Pinochle, Mexican Train, and Bridge. Call to register or stop by the Senior Room to join.

City of Blue Island offers a variety of recreational offerings to the local community.
- Walk To School Days: Designed to be encouraging events for both kids and families focusing on walking or taking a bike to school together. Trailnet gives tools needed to take additional steps for parents and kids to become active before and after school. - Walking School Buses: Provides guidance and support to students who take the bus to area schools.
Anyone is welcome to come in and walk in our airconditioned/heated gym or auditorium whenever the building is open.
Orland Township offers a variety of classes to improve and maintain residents' overall health and fitness while appealing to a wide range of interests. Classes are held in a safe environment with certified instructors trained to recognize the needs of each individual. These instructors are available, through the Township office, to answer any questions or concerns. Classes are available on a scheduled basis, January through November.
