Visitation Program: Services provided to DCFS clients who are working towards reunification with their children who have been removed from their household due to abuse and/or neglect. Services include transportation to and from visitation and supervision of visitation between family members. Norman Housing Services: This program provides services to DCFS clients who lack adequate housing.

Provides supervised visitation and exchange services for non-residential parents to have access to their children in a safe and impartial setting under the observation of a third party who is responsible for intervening as needed to promote safety.
Provides culturally-appropriate, multilingual services to survivors of gender violence with a primary focus on immigrant, refugee, and marginalized communities. Services include: - 24-hour hotline, text line, and email. - Emergency 24-hour safe home/shelter for survivors. - Counseling. - Case management/social services advocacy. - Support groups. - Economic empowerment. - Parenting, conflict management, and communication training. - Transitional or second stage housing for a period of up to 24 months with supportive services such as counseling, case management, job training, and referrals. - Supervised child visitation and safe exchange center for children to visit with their court-mandated, non-custodial parent under supervision by specially trained staff and volunteers. - Community education regarding domestic violence. - Domestic violence training certification for professionals and volunteers who want to work directly with clients. - Additional assistance with housing, employment, and advocacy to obtain resources.

General Counseling Services
Provides neutral exchanges and supervised guardian-child parenting times. Each parent or guardian must complete the intake process. Neutral Exchanges: Offers monitored transitions of a child/children from one parent or guardian to the other. The child/children then spend unsupervised time with the other parent or guardian. Supervised Parenting Time: Supervisor monitors all interaction between a parent or guardian and their non-residential child/children. Monitors are present and take notes throughout the entire time. Parenting time can be held on-site at the Springfield office or off-site are locations such as parks, museums, the parent's home, etc.
Provides supervised visitation for child welfare cases referred by DCFS and local child welfare agencies. This program also provides in-home habilitation services including budgeting, parenting, environmental assistance, and assistance with gaining employment.
Provides families impacted by domestic violence or high conflict divorces a safe, family-centered area for parents to exchange or visit with their children without hostility or confrontation.
Apna Ghar, Inc. (Our Home) creates a safe and healing environment for children to interact with visiting parents who have caused harm to the families through the Supervised Visitation and Safe Exchange program. Their trained staff support these parents in repairing relationships with their children. The program also provides a safe location for parents to pick-up and drop-off their children for unsupervised visits.

Mujeres Latinas en Acción offers parenting education sessions in Spanish to improve interpersonal relationships in families. We also offer individual and group counseling for parents and operate the only free Supervised Visitation & Safe Exchange services for low-income families in Chicagoland.

Offers supervised parenting time for non-custodial parents and their children. Supervised parenting time is offered in the presence of a neutral third party to ensure the child’s safety. This service is provided at The Parent Place, in the home, or in the community. The supervisor for each visit is an experienced parent educator and makes sure the children are supervised in a safe environment.
