DROP-IN RESOURCE CENTER | VETERANS PATH TO HOPE

Offers support to veterans, military personnel, and their families to address challenges related to deployments and reintegration. This program is staffed by certified veteran peer support specialists. Peer-to-peer mentoring, group support, and therapeutic counseling are available. Veterans and their family members are encouraged to drop in or call with any concern; if the agency does not have a way to assist, we are part of a network that can.

Programs offered Voices of Veterans writing group meets monthly, a support group for Vietnam veterans is held weekly, OIF/OEF veterans meet for food/comradery Wednesdays at 5:30 pm.

Other support meetings are started as the need arises.

Cancer Diagnosis Networking Groups - Cancer Wellness Center - Northbrook

Cancer Wellness' monthly discussion groups allow patients and family members to share information with otherswith similar diagnoses. These groups focus on peer-to-peer sharing related to the physical aspects of living with the diagnosis. These groups are professionally facilitated and meet monthly on a drop-in basis.
