Pet Food Program – Offers delivery of a weekly portion of pet food each week to ensure clients have companionship and do not need to share their people food with those companions. Provides pet food for pet owners with up to three pets in their household. Also offers a retail area that provides discounted pet supplies for owners who have more than three pets.
Meals on Wheels Northeastern Illinois delivers meals to older adults, individuals with physical and cognitive disabilities, Veterans, and others unable to prepare their own food. They provide short-term services to help during a medical situation like recovering after surgery, or long-term services to support a healthy life.They also provide free dog and cat food on a monthly basis to more than 450 pets owned by clients. Pets get the food they need and our clients, many of whom are socially isolated, benefit from interaction with our pet-loving volunteers. Additionally, cat litter, new or gently used collars, leashes, bedding, toys, scratching posts, etc. may also be available while supplies last.
Provides a food pantry for local residents. Food panty is drive-up service, but residents receive a menu to make pantry selections. Also distributes dish soap, toilet paper, and hand soap supplies when donations are received. Dog and cat food is also regularly available.

Meals on Wheels Chicago is now helping more seniors find nutrition at Nourish Chicago Pantry. This program improves seniors' quality of life and health by providing access to quality grocery items, including over 70% fresh produce, proteins, pantry, and wellness essentials. Each of the 40-50 items available at every event is ordered fresh just for Nourish Chicago Pantry guests. Seniors aged 55 and over are welcome to attend all Nourish Chicago Pantry events.The Nourish Chicago Pantry also offers animal wellness packs for cats and dogs that include a supply of food, preventative medicine, and toys to help take care of the pets that are taking care of their senior owners. Items rotate monthly depending on availability, but the food is always included to provide a reliable source of pet food for senior owners.

Provides temporary pet food assistance. The free food can help a family keep their pet when they are struggling to make ends meet and at risk of needing to give up the pet. Food available one per month.
Orland Township Crashy's Closet aims to provide food and supplies for pets whose families are experiencing financial difficulty. Patrons may receive dog and cat food, kitty litter, pet treats, pet shampoo, toys, collars, leashes, and other miscellaneous pet-related items while supplies last.

The Friendship Centers provides dog and cat food in addition to kitty litter, treats, and when available, leashes, bowls, and new or gently used toys. They can also assist in locating low-cost veterinary services.

C.A.R.E. provides supplemental food support to help families keep pets in their homes rather than give them up to a rescue group due to financial reasons. Theyprovide approximately one week's worth of food per pet per month.
Offering free pet food to individuals with pets who are in need or cannot afford necessities for their pets. Supply is based on donations.
Provides a pet food pantry to individuals with animals who are needing food.
PAWS Chicago Community Outreach works to remove barriers to accessing spay/neuter - like transportation. They build relationships, share educational information, and provide resources including a pet-food pantry, pet training advice, and veterinary care. They are there to connect with pet lovers who do not have access to these vital services and won't receive them without intervention.

Evanston Animal Shelter provides pet food to Evanston-area residents who are in need of assistance with providing food to their furry family members.
