HOME VISITING | BABY TALK

Offers to connect enrolled families to a Home Visiting professional who employs the Baby TALK Family Engagement Approach to meet families where they are. Home Visitors come alongside families prenatally through age three to collaborate around child and family goals, as well as child development and family interactions. Home Visits take place weekly or bi-weekly, depending on what is appropriate for the family.

Children's Clinical Services - Children's Research Triangle - Main Office

Children's Research Triangle provides both trauma-informed assessment and mental health treatment for children and their families via clinical services. Services include various therapy approaches (such as Child-Parent Psychotherapy, Theraplay, and more), psychological and developmental evaluations, and pre-adoptive consultation and education. These services are primarily focused on children under 18 from the south and west sides of Chicago.

Infant & Early Childhood Therapy - Shirley Ryan Abilitylab - Pathways

The Shirley Ryan Abilitylab in partnership with Pathways offers Early Intervention, a federally mandated program of coordinated services, through IDEA Part C, that provides support and education to children with developmental delays and their families. Children ages 0-3 exhibiting delays in physical, cognitive, communication, and social/emotional development are eligible for services. The goal of Early Intervention (EI) is to help children with developmental delays as soon as possible so they can reach their fullest potential.Eligibility for EI is determined after a child has been evaluated by a health professional. Some children are diagnosed at birth with a condition that makes them eligible for EI, while other children may not be evaluated until they have exhibited a delay in reaching milestones.Additional services include pediatric occupational therapy, physical therapy, and speech/language therapy.
