Food Protection Program includes inspection of restaurant and retail food stores (HACCP concepts), USDA Food Safety Fact Sheets, Private Sewage Disposal Program includes Inspection of residential/business subsurface seepage systems, buried sandfilters, aerobic treatment plants, Potable Water Program, Water Well Construction Inspection: Testing of drinking water, Salon Inspection Program, Insect and Rodent Control, Nuisance Complaints.

Responsible for the preservation and improvement of the environment. Programs and services include bed bugs information, body art/tattoo parlor inspections, food safety and restaurant inspections, private sewage system inspections, tanning facility inspections, and well inspections.

Services include investigating sewage discharges onto the surface of the ground or into waterways, inspecting sewage systems for home sales, investigating dumpsites, outdoor accumulations of garbage, and vacant, collapsing houses, complaints about food service establishments, and inspects and issues permits for permanent and temporary food service establishments. Will also provide sample bottles for collecting water for analysis, inspects wells for home sales, and collects birds suspected of having died from West Nile Virus for testing.

Provides environmental health services such as food sanitation and safety inspections, well/septic program and nuisance control (such as overgrown weeds, hazardous chemicals, etc).
