- Elder abuse, including financial exploitation.

- Other court orders to stop abuse, harassment, or stalking.

- Immigration issues faced by survivors of domestic violence and trafficking.

- Guardianships of minors and adults to ensure safety and stability.

Prosecutes all felony, misdemeanor and traffic crimes committed within the County.

Advises and represents the County Board and the elected and appointed officials of the County.

Assists those petitioning for Orders of Protection.

Goes to court to collect unpaid child support.

Provides management and maintenance for vital records like birth certificates, death certificates, marriage license and county elections.

Also handles of all trial court records; process fines, fees, and court costs owed to the state; child support checks and civil judgments owned to litigants; and maintain record of liens on property.

Responsibilities:

- Prosecutes all state criminal cases (felony and misdemeanor) and traffic cases for Moultrie County.

- Provides the legal counsel for county business.

- Assists those petitioning for Orders of Protection.

- Goes to court to collect unpaid child support.

- May assist with victim restitution and plea offer requests.

Child support hotline available to any parent who needs assistance in establishing legal parentage, or establishing or enforcing child support or medical support.

When receiving TANF, applicant must work with Child Support in order to receive benefits.
