For general benefits questions, simply download the app on a smart phone or tablet or text the question to 311VET - 311838. If the question is in the database, meaning it’s one that has already been asked, an instant computer response is received. If not, the question is routed to a team of human experts who will find an answer. This generally takes just a few minutes.
