Assistance can include, and funding is limited: - Rent assistance with eviction notice. - Utility bill assistance with disconnect notice (including Illinois American Water). - Medical prescriptions assistance. - Clothing and winter coat vouchers. - Emergency food. - Transportation (MC Rides). Each individual will be interviewed to determine the need, the best method to meet that need, and offer life skills guidance to prevent further occurrence of the emergency situation. Referrals are made to other human services agencies when appropriate.
