Services include providing shelter, food, clothing, case management, and classes (parenting, money management, job preparation, etc.) while fostering a safe, productive environment that restores dignity and promotes healing.
Overnight shelter at multiple locations. Staff will assess housing crisis, discuss access to resources, provide support with housing planning and identity all steps to be taken.
Offers coordinated assessments to individuals and families experiencing homelessness or are at-risk. Comprehensive services include: - Day Resource Center: Offers assessment for services and case management for people experiencing homelessness. Provides counseling, a mailing address, basic needs and hygiene products. - Emergency Overnight Shelter (Open October 1 through April 30) Offers a temporary place for people to sleep every night from October to April. Clients receive dinner, breakfast in the morning, and a sack lunch to take with them. - Outreach Program: Provides outreach to individuals who are experiencing homelessness but are resistant to services. Offers supportive services in their current environment. - Supportive Housing: Offers permanent housing for individuals with mental illnesses. Provides 24/7 supportive services on-site by clinical professionals. - Prevention and Diversion Program: Offers case management services for people who are on the verge of homelessness.
Emergency Shelter Provides emergency shelter for boys and youth identifying as boys, ages 14-17. Serves eight boys at a time with maximum stay of 120 days. Offers support and guidance to plan next steps. Transitional Housing Provides transitional living program for young adults of any gender, ages 18-23. Serves six young adults for up to two years. Also offers two emergency beds for young adults.
Provides shelter, sustenance, education and Christian counseling to homeless children, their parents, and single women. Works for the mental and spiritual transformation of the heart, mind, and soul of those who find themselves homeless, giving them the needed tools to obtain and maintain permanent housing.
Provides emergency shelter for the homeless of Southern Illinois. Case managers identify barriers to permanent housing and develop a case plan to help the residents overcome the barriers. The goal is to assist each resident in securing and maintaining permanent housing. The following are provided: - 30-day shelter. - Meals. - Toiletries. - Basic over-the-counter medications. - Case management.

Homeless Shelter
Emergency Shelter: Provides emergency/crisis short-term shelter for single women and women with children of any age, including male children (ages 13-17). The shelter provides a safe place to sleep, evening meal, laundry, and shower facilities. The length of stay is 30 days. Residents are encouraged to meet with the Emergency Shelter Lead Supervisor for long term stability plan. Transitional Shelter for Women with Children: Provides immediate relief to women, 18 and over, with children (male children must be 12 years of age or younger). In addition, provides life's basic needs - food, clothing, personal care items, laundry facilities, transportation, and telephones to make appointments. Supportive services provided include life skill classes, employment assistance, budgeting, family literacy, parenting classes, tutoring, and case management with a goal of finding and maintaining permanent housing.
Provides shelter, food, access to clothing and other material goods, as well as access to services that enable residents to gain independence.
Provides safe homes to youth while they recover from severe childhood trauma. Treatment services include: - Individualized treatment - Vocational and career preparation - Individual and family therapy - Recreational activities Note: Kids are participating in remote learning on our Lake Villa campus for residential clients and in their homes for our day treatment students. Staff is utilizing tele-communication for visitations.

Provides outreach, emergency shelter, and transitional living services to homeless young adults (and any dependents). Participants can receive outreach services including basic needs, life skills, employment and education prep/support, transportation, health/wellness, and additional referrals. Participants may also access emergency shelter services in the event that all other shelter options have been exhausted, or an individual is unable to access shelter for any reason. These participants will be screened for acceptance into the emergency shelter and will have follow up case management services for as long as they are enrolled in the program.

Dixon PADS Shelter is a Christian-based shelter that provides temporary housing for single men, single women, and families. Men are in separate residences from women and children even if the rest of their family is in the women's shelter. Residents are able to stay at the shelter for a maximum of 6 months as they work on a transition plan for self-sufficiency. The shelter provides referrals and support to residents as they work on their transition plan.

Emergency shelter program for families with children enrolled in Urbana School District or who have children staying overnight at Crisis Nursery and have no other place to stay.
Low barrier homeless shelter. Adult men and women can stay regardless of their state of sobriety at the time of intake.
Temporary homeless shelter providing those in need with more permanent solutions, for up to 30 days with a re-evaluation for a possible extension. RRM networks with other charitable organizations to meet the needs of the guests for things such as clothing, food, and job assistance. All guests must participate in a screening process before beginning their stay to ensure the safety of clients and staff. Screening process involves a background check, interview, heat treating of all fabric items, and shower.
Provides overnight shelter and supportive services to people over the age of 18. Its primary goal is to assist those in an immediate housing crisis get reconnected as quickly as possible to housing in the community.
