Ignite offers a safe, welcoming space youth can come to whenever they feel the need. A full continuum of services is available under one roof including housing placement, life skills programming, employment support and financial literacy, primary health care, mental health/substance use assessment and treatment, and child care.

NEW DAY DROP-IN CENTER | MORNINGSTAR MISSION MINISTRIES

Offers a variety of services for men, women, and children experiencing homelessness, gives guests a safe place to be during the day with heating and cooling. Services include: Computer Learning Center, Referrals to community resources, job search assistance, life skills training, assistance with rental applications, and emergency clothing vouchers.

The HOPE Center - Journeys the Road Home - Main Office

The HOPE Center is a resource center that provides free services to the homeless and those at risk of becoming homeless. Monday through Friday services include food pantry, clothing, laundry services, locker and shower facilities, mailbox/voicemail/email services, transportation assistance, and case management which covers job counseling, mental health counseling, housing counseling, financial counseling, housing assistance, and healthcare and legal referrals. The HOPE Center is also where people register to use emergency shelters in the area. A family nurse practitioner offers free healthcare on Thursdays and can assist with accessing prescriptions, and on Tuesdays they offer bike repair.On weekends, the location is still available as a cooling/warming center but no other services are available.

Respite Center - Niles Township - Respite Center

Niles Township recently opened its new Respite Center in St. Paul Lutheran Church in Skokie, providing invaluable relief for those who are without a home in the community.Regularly working with Township neighbors who are most vulnerable, Niles Township and its dedicated social workers identified the importance of having temporary space for those needing a breather - resting, washing clothes, showering, and other basics.

Youth Drop-In Centers - La Casa Norte - Community Center

Located in the Humboldt Park and Back of the Yards neighborhoods, two drop-in centers are open on weekdays for unaccompanied youth, ages 16 through 24. Along with a safe space to stay during daytime hours, youth receive two meals and access to resources, including computers, storage lockers, and case management. From financial literacy to individual therapy to family reunification, youth receive the support they need to succeed.

JUBILEE CENTER | SHELTER CARE MINISTRIES

A non-clinical, membership drop-in-center.

Advocates for consumers in the areas of mental health services, housing, financial issues, substance abuse, and medical issues. These services are offered through local support agencies.

Offers a pscyho-social environment with access to computers, TV, a pool table, newspapers, a telephone, and limited food services.

Drop-In Case Management - Inspiration Corporation Office & Inspiration Cafe

Inspiration Corporation offers drop-in case management appointments to anyone in need especially individuals experiencing homelessness. Some examples of services offered during drop-in case management are the use of resource room phones and computers, assistance with applying for benefits, referrals to healthcare services, assistance with applications for transportation support, and more.

SAFE HARBOR SHELTER | SALVATION ARMY OF BLOOMINGTON

Offers shelter to homeless adults. Clients are eligible for additional services such as case management services, showers, laundry and meals. The length of stay is eight weeks. The stay may be extended based on progress.

Day Center Services are offered to homeless individuals/families and include:

- Case management.

- Job development.

- Mental health counseling.

- Life skills.

- Agency referral.

A space where people experiencing homeless or loneliness may gather to be together in a safe environment. Coffee and cool drinks are available, as well as games, puzzles, and a children's room. Community case management is available, as well as appointments with the community health navigator. A classroom may be reserved for meetings or classes.
