Eligibility
Must have an eviction, past due or foreclosure statement, proven financial crisis within the last 90 days, rent must be affordable, have not received help in the last 2 years, lack financial resources to prevent homelessness without assistance

Must have a photo ID, social security cards for all household members, an eviction, past due or foreclosure statement, income statements, others upon request

Provides households with one-time assistance for deposit, rent, or mortgage payments to prevent homelessness, using funding provided through the Illinois Department of Human Services (IDHS). This program can only help once every two years.
