Eligibility

Open to residents of Whiteside County; In order to be eligible for the low-cost spay/neuter program, one must own a dog or cat and be eligible for the Food Stamp Program or the Social Security Disability Insurance Benefits Program

Required documents

Proof of eligibility for the Food Stamp Program or the Social Security Disability Insurance Benefits Program (a copy of a Notice of Decision, Statement of Benefits, or a letter from a local food stamp office is acceptable proof of eligibility)

Application process

Call for information; Client may participate by filling out a voucher and returning it to Whiteside County Animal Control; Upon approval, the voucher will be returned to the client; The client would then take the approved voucher to a participating veterinarian at the time of the pet's appointment

Spay/Neuter program: $15 co-pay
