Youth Employment Programs | EMPLOYEE CONNECTIONS INC - Youth Transition to Work Program

Provides employment opportunities for at-risk youth in Lake County. Offers a chance to develop workplace skills and gain experience through subsidized employment. Offers both short and long-term programs. Youth will earn minimum wage and receive a paycheck every two weeks.

Must be a U.S. citizen and Lake County resident between the ages of 16-24 years old Must meet at least one risk-factor, such as: - Resides in a household that receives public assistance - Resides in a single-parent household, or one that either parent is incarcerated - Youth or their siblings have dropped out of school, are pregnant, or justice-involved - Youth has a disability or IEP - Youth identifies as LGBTQ - Youth has academic difficulties, behavior issues, or truancy concerns - Visit website for a complete list of risk factors
