GENERAL ASSISTANCE | ELGIN TOWNSHIP
Elgin Township provides General Assistance for those who are ineligible for any other state or federal funding program. Eligibility is based on financial need and township residency. Provides Emergency Assistance for rent to prevent eviction and disconnection of utilities. In addition, provides: - TRIAD Senior Program - Informational seminars for seniors focusing on reducing criminal victimization of older persons. - Voter registration and early voting for Kane County residents. - Household battery recycling. - Notary Public services.
