Contact (708) 331-0500 if you or someone you know is experiencing a psychiatric crisis. Individuals admitted to EBHC receive a Mental Health Assessment, individual and group counseling and therapy and care management. Clients work with a therapist in developing an individualized treatment plan focusing specifically on the goals they wish to address. Once discharged, the individual is linked with appropriate community based services and can continue to work toward their recovery from mental illness.

Description
Grand Prairie Services (GPS) Emergency Behavioral Healthcare Center (EBHC) responds to adults experiencing a crisis through a variety of services, including short-term therapy, telephone support, and 24-hour crisis residential services. The crisis program has a capacity of 10 beds. EBHC services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Crisis counselors and therapists respond to each call, offering emotional support, face-to-face counseling, crisis assessments, and/or referrals.
