NAMI Chicago Wellness through Creativity Groups

National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Chicago provides a Wellness Through Creativity Group to explore using various mediums like art, music and poetry to connect with themselves and others. All wellness classes are free, safe, and confidential places to talk things through with others who understand, and are led by people who have had similar experiences too.

NAMI Chicago provides the services needed to support wellness, from lending a listening ear to a concerned family member to working with individuals long-term connecting to resources. NAMI Chicago also offers peer-led support groups and classes virtually and in various locations across Chicago. These sessions foster community and provide safe spaces to discuss mental health, both for individuals living with a mental health condition and for their families and friends.
