Description

Berwyn Township administers the state-mandated General Assistance program, designed to help Berwyn Residents in need who are not eligible for Social Security or a state-supported program. Residents who qualify are able to come to the Township for assistance. In order to determine if one meets all requirements necessary to apply for General Assistance, residents should contact the General Assistance Department at 708-788-6600. General Assistance is considered to be the program of last resort.
