Prepares and responds to public health threats and emergencies, such as: - Communicable disease outbreaks. - Natural disasters (floods, earthquakes, tornados, etc.). - Bioterrorism events. - Weapons of mass destruction. Also maintains a Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) volunteer group.
