Application process
To apply, applicants need to log onto the HACC's website at www.thehacc.org. Scroll down and click "Open Wait List" on the HACC's home page. Select the desired property and then click "Apply to Wait List." Applications must be submitted electronically through the website; no other form of application will be accepted. Description
The Housing Authority of Cook County (HACC) will be re-opening its site-based wait lists for one-bedroom project-based voucher (PBV) units for seniors age 55 and older at the following locations: Franklin Towers - 9535 W. Franklin Avenue, Franklin Park, IL 60131Henrich House - 1301 Ashland Avenue, Des Plaines, IL 60016All completed applications will be accepted, but only 150 applicants will be placed on the waitlist. A computer-generated lottery system will be used to determine which applicants are selected and the order of applicants on the waiting list. For those selected, applicants who are currently on the HACC's Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Program wait list will receive a preference.
