IGROW | WINNEBAGO COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT

- Provides an early childhood home visiting program that offers a wide range of services to prenatal, pregnant women, and parenting families of children up to age 3. Families are connected to home visiting services that assist with kindergarten readiness, while developing strong healthy families and relationships. Families are paired with home visitors based on the family's needs and program eligibility guidelines. Home visitors work with parents on practical parenting skills as well as family bonding during pregnancy and as children grow up. Home visitors provide parenting tips that match the child's needs. - Serves as a single point of entry for local agencies that provided services for families with young children under 5 that provide home visiting services and doula programs. - This program is designed to strengthen and build strong parent-child relationships utilizing evidence-based program models. WCHD partners with local agencies to provide: - One-on-one home visits. - Child activities and parenting tips. - Developmental screenings. - Connections to community services.
