SUPPORTED EMPLOYMENT | THE ARC OF IROQUOIS COUNTY

Moves people with disabilities from unemployment or segregated employment to employment in the community at competitive wages. Helps people find and keep community jobs. Services include: - Job Development and Placement. - Work setting training. - Advocacy. - Ongoing Assessment. - Follow-up support services. - Support of an on site job coach is provided, as needed. Workers Unlimited Club: - Awareness of employment options and the community integrated employment skills. - Leadership and self advocacy skills. - Job experiences and employment opportunities. - Community service. - Makes potential employers aware of the benefits of hiring people with disabilities.
