IMMUNIZATIONS | SANGAMON-MENARD COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH

Adult and childhood immunizations are offered. A parent or guardian must accompany anyone under 18 years of age. Travel immunizations are available for persons planning on leaving the country. Travelers should see a health-care provider at least 4-6 weeks before the trip to allow time for vaccines to take effect and to start taking medicine, if indicated. Pre-exposure rabies vaccine may also be obtained for travelers who plan to spend a lot of time outdoors.
