COMMUNITY DAY SERVICES (CDS) | LIFELONG ACCESS
Offers a program to assist individuals with developmental disabilities become more independent in their daily life. Individualized goals are established upon admission. Supervision and training services are provided by certified Direct Support Professionals; nursing services available on site. Program is best suited to those with deficits in one or more of the following areas: - Motor development. - Dressing and grooming. - Toileting. - Eating. - Language. The Developmental Training program is a curriculum based, group learning environment focused on three major goal areas: Adaptive Living Skills (personal care, communication), Professional Development (pre-vocational skills assessments and training), and Therapeutic Interventions (exercise classes, therapies recommended by OT/PT professionals). The program also provides opportunities for community outings to local venues in the Bloomington-Normal area.

Participants are charged an hourly rate based on the State reimbursement rate.
Eligibility
- Must be 18 years or older. - Have proof of DT funding from Champaign County Regional Planning Commission. - Have a deficit in one of the following areas: motor development, dressing and grooming, toileting, eating, language, or productive capacity as determined by the assessments.
