Offers free notary public services. All individuals signing documents must be present. All documents must be signed in front of the notary and not before. The follow documents can NOT be notarized: - Cook County real estate transactions - Employment verification (IRS form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification) - Passports - Photocopies of official documents **Library staff cannot witness documents; must bring own witnesses if necessary**
