Appointment preferred, walk-ins accepted; Cook county residents are encouraged to call ahead of time to verify that the warming center is open and that they have available space. Social distancing and other CDC guidelines will be enforced.

Riverside Township provides a warming center during life-threatening cold weather and if residents are without heat or need a space to get out of the cold, and a cooling center during extreme heat. Not overnight.
