Township of Schaumburg General Assistance Program is a state-mandated, locally administered welfare program. General Assistance offers financial support for Schaumburg Township residents to meet basic monthly needs such as shelter, utilities, food, transportation, and personal items. Primarily, the program is available to adults with little to no income.
